What we collect

If you email us or book a call, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and anything you tell us about your business. If you become a client, we also hold the business and financial information you provide so that we can prepare your document.

This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. Our host, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote: legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
To carry out work you have engaged us for: performance of a contract.
To keep accounting and professional records: legal obligation.
To send occasional introductions to professional firms that might refer clients: legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time by replying "no thanks".

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting), Zoho (email), The Hoxton Mix (business address and post), our call-booking provider (appointments), and our professional indemnity insurer and ICAEW where required. Some providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that don't lead to work for up to 12 months. We keep client files for six years after the work ends, in line with professional and tax record-keeping requirements.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
